Fun, sweetness, and a whole lot of laughs, Mr. Right-At present is every fangirl'due south dream come truthful. This book volition make your mouth water for reasons that involve nutrient and a very sexy human being!

We all swooned over our favorite celebrities back in high school—A-list actors, stone stars, and the fan favorite, boy band members. Then peradventure meeting them and making them fall in dear with us, as you practice. Our heroine in this story has been through that, too; the only difference is she's actually met her favorite celebrity considering he'south her side by side door neighbor and her all-time friend'southward large brother. Not that her fantasies came true when she was in high school, of course. On that score, we're on even footing.

When a famous Idiot box chef opens a new bakery near Maggie Hayes'southward baker in Brooklyn, her business fails and she goes back to Philly to lick her wounds and regroup. Just when she thinks she's reached the lowest of lows, she bumps into Drew Delaney, old male child band heartthrob and the human of Maggie's teenage fantasies… while her face is getting intimate with a phallic-shaped block.

Despite the less than cute meet-cute, the two hit it off and are mutually interested in hot fun. Maggie isn't sure she's prepare for something and so serious afterward she had her heart broken when her business failed, simply as she spends more than time with Drew, she's having more doubts of leaving Philly for New York again.

This book has flirty banter, dirty talk, and sweet, sweet conversations (often involving actual sweets). Drew and Maggie have an instant connection and palpable spark that goes deeper and more intense as they get to know each other more than they did when they were kids.

I couldn't resist Drew Delaney! The man knows how to get to your center and into your panties. He's sexy and fun and will practice anything for Maggie. And the human being is genuinely nice. Nothing improve than a genuinely nice man who can sing, dance, and talk dingy.

And Maggie is amazing. I admire her resilience later on that bump in the route. She does have moments of self-deprecation, merely she continues to continue her head up and work hard to achieve her dream. And her pastries? Yum! I want some!

Mr. Correct-Now is a quick, light, and fun story packed total of fun scenes and sexy times to keep yous entertained the whole journey.

I kinda want to read almost Drew'southward sister, McKenna now…

Tropes: Glory Romance, Best Friend'southward Brother, Childhood Friends

This was true for Maggie, she had posters of Drew Delaney on her bedroom wall, however she kind of already had a '2 degrees of separation' connectedness with him, he is her best friend's big brother. He was gorgeous and the lead vocalist of a boyband who hit information technology big. Even though she knew him, he was very much out of her fantasy reach.

Maggie had her own career dreams of i day owning her ain bakery, she is a really fabulous cook and after a lot of hard work over the years she finally realised that dream when she opened her ain shop. This was to be a short lived dream though and Maggie returned to her family habitation with her tail between her legs and a very sad bank balance – she really feels like she has hit stone lesser.

Information technology seems that fate has decided to pay Maggie a visit when Drew Delaney comes back into her life. He now lives in her hometown, still involved in the music industry simply not then public anymore. And damn, he is even more hotter than he was all those years ago. These ii may be 'grown ups' now simply being with Drew is similar re-living the teenage years again – except with the existent human and not a fantasy.

As Maggie enjoys spending time with Drew and the incredible connection she has with him, she tin't help but hold back just a little. That little seed of doubt just waiting to take root leaves her with 1 foot in and ane pes out of a possible hereafter with him. Tin Drew bear witness to Maggie that he is not Mr Right Now but he could be Mr Forever?

iv Fangirl CROWNS

Lila Monroe delivers another romantic comedy that will have readers laughing and swooning, and, to be honest, reliving their fan-girl days in the earth of boy bands.

Mr. Right Now is no other than Drew, the atomic number 82 vocalizer and forepart homo for the boy-band Category 5. Readers, however, see the heartthrob much later and long after his Cat5 days are over. Although he has moved on, he nevertheless maintains that male child-band charm. He is charismatic and sexy, and readers will beloved that he has found a niche and stayed in the music business on his own terms. What will really ensnare the love of readers is his thou gestures with the heroine. He is literally the perfect romance hero.

Maggie is a fantastic heroine. Everything from her profession to her rolling with the punches that life has dealt her makes her a great leading lady and the perfect fit for Drew. The aspect of her grapheme that readers will love the most is her tenacity. She knows she is good at what she does, and she gets knocked down more times that I can count in one book. She, however, e'er gets back up, and she has incredible support squad, which speaks to how corking she is a person.

Mr. Correct Now is a fun and well-paced romantic comedy mixed with a second-adventure romance-esque story (they never dated before). The story begins with Drew and Maggie meeting upwardly again in a hilarious meet-cute, igniting the interest of Drew. The sparks between the two quickly ignite, and Lila Monroe gives readers plenty spice betwixt the 2 to entice us until they seal the deal. What I really enjoy most this story though is that the conflict is not really clear until it is upon the reader. There are so many avenues or conflicts the author could accept taken, and I similar the choice she made as well equally how it wasn't blatantly clear. Readers are also going to love the grand gesture at the end and the epilogue.

Lila Monroe has created some other fantastic romantic one-act with a twist of nostalgia. Readers volition be taken back to the days of boy ring beloved and fangirling, and they will live in the moments with Maggie and Drew, making information technology a must read for the teen-dream fan inside of yous.

Lila takes u.s.a. into a fictional world full of risque cakes and memories of teen centre throbs and unfulfilled high schoolhouse fantasies that have the states laughing and falling hard for her amazing fictional couple. Information technology isn't long before we are face up down in a piece alcohol infused flesh colored block and being seduced by a teenage dream! Maggie and Drew have us singing along with male child band fascination and leave us craving so much more than scandalous sweets!

Maggie Hayes has come dwelling house to Philly feeling like an utter failure having her baker in New York fail. Never did she picture her life turning out this way or seeing Drew Delaney over again at one of the most humiliating times, with her face downward in her confectionery goodness. Maggie kept me entertained in every way from the moment I envisioned her with icing on her chin and her face red as a beet looking up at her teenage crush. I admittedly adore everything almost her from her "never quit" mental attitude, head total of loftier school insecurities to her ingenious blistering skills. I am certain that every woman reading Maggie's story volition experience a kindred spirit with this heroine who can whip up a batch of rum flavored icing, forge her own path, and bring the man who starred in all of her teenage dreams to his knees! What'southward non to beloved and adore?

Drew Delaney sang, danced, and charmed his way right into my heart from the moment he rescues his icing covered damsel and gives her his signature smirk. I loved getting hot and heavy with this teen crush hottie and learning what he has done since his "male child band" days. He shows that it takes more a neat voice and sexy trip the light fantastic moves to create success and his big heart and delicious body are sure to make you lot swoon!

Lila Monroe delivers a funny os tickling, desire kindling, diet destroying read! I highly recommend Mr. Right Now for a beloved story full of boy band posters, high school bucket lists, and yummy pornographic treats! Lila tin can spin a tale that brings the laughter, sweltering heat, and leaves you envisioning all kinds of unique culinary delights. You can't become wrong with this talented author who offers up so much temptation with a tantalizing hero and heroine and phallic shaped cakes!

My second time reading Lila Monroe, and I really enjoyed Mr. Correct Now. A quick and sexy read, if I'd had the time without interruptions, I could have hands read it in a single sitting. This book was low on drama and angst, and information technology was a calorie-free-hearted, entertaining and easy-to-read story. This is the kind of book I refer to equally a hangover cure – the perfect story to cleanse a reader's palate, and so to speak, afterwards finishing something heavy or emotional.

Imagine your all-time friend'due south big brother becomes the front man of a top boy band. Along with every other girl in the country, you are burdensome on him hard. Unfortunately for Maggie, her best friend, McKenna, was none too thrilled about this shell, and they drifted apart. Twelve years later, Maggie finds herself back home in Philly, living at her parents' business firm as she tries to regroup later on her dream of her own bakery in New York crashes and burns in humiliating manner. An embarrassing miscommunication with her commencement catering event back home lands Maggie in a frosting-covered mess of forty-inch phallic-shaped cake at the feet of her babyhood crush, Drew. Their allure was swift and as sweetness every bit the sexy cakes she's known for, and they positively sizzled together.

No longer the infamous male child-band front human being, Drew is also dorsum home. He's a producer at present, and he'due south happy being the guy backside the scenes, or at least he would be if one of his onetime bandmates would end dragging him into his cheesy, fame-grabbing attempts to regain their one-time celebrity. Drew is immediately smitten with the grown-up version of his sister's high-schoolhouse bestie. He pursues her relentlessly, but in addition to figuring out her future, Maggie needs to decide if Drew is a dream-come-true or just a Mr. Right Now.

Mr. Right At present was a lot of fun, filled with the kind of humor that kept a smile on my face up. It was pretty steamy, and the romance was sweetness as Drew went all out to convince Maggie he was more than his pop-star persona. All in all, I enjoyed this book—information technology was cute, charming and funny, and I would definitely read this author again. Lila Monroe's Mr. Correct At present gets four smooches from me!

Drew's career in music has shifted from performer to producer and he couldn't be happier to return dwelling to set up his studio and escape L.A. After years of touring and band drama, he wants to build a new life for himself. And when he spots a certain daughter from his by, he'due south determined to make her a part of information technology. Her and her delicious cupcakes.

As Maggie and Drew grow closer, sparks wing on only about every flat surface bachelor. And some not-so-flat surfaces that require a bit of inventiveness on their part. Withal, just when things starting time to turn serious, both Drew and Maggie accept to decide if their relationship is worth sacrificing possible career opportunities for.

Tin can they have their cake and eat it likewise? *snicker*

This story combined two of my favorite things: music and dessert. In my day chore, I own a bakery. No kidding. I'm on extended maternity leave correct now, but sticking with simple things like cookies and fudge, just I'1000 usually upwards to my elbows in cake. So when Maggie is making her saccharide magic, I couldn't aid merely smile. The music lyrics were also a nice improver to the storyline.

I loved Maggie'south determination to find her manner again and Drew's determination to win her over. Information technology was an adorable pairing with several hilarious moments. I don't want to give anything away but the bachelorette party with the *special guest* dancer made me tear upwardly considering I was laughing so difficult. There was lots of humor sprinkled throughout the volume. Sprinkled. Get it? Ha!

And the romance was actually spicy. Like a large gingersnap cookie. Seriously, I could go all day with the dessert references. Information technology'southward in my blood. And the love scenes definitely got my blood pumping while reading this book. Maggie was bold and Drew was swoonworthy. I think this couple might just exist my favorite out of all of Lila Monroe'southward books so far. And that'south saying something because I've liked them all.

In closing...
A fun blend of saccharide and spice that really hits the spot! Okay, that'southward the last one. I swear. Five suns!

I enjoyed the other characters in this book as well and hope this standalone turns into a series. Please OH Delight LILA MONROE :*

I was laughing out loud at moments and yelling for these two to end being dumb but that HEA is perfect and well written, just like the rest of the book!
